How We Treat our Tasmanian History
The following historical plaques were ripped from their locations when the handover of the land at Risdon Cove occurred under the Tasmanian Aboriginal Land Act 1995.
Fortunately they were rescued on their way to the tip and are now held awaiting the day when Tasmanians finally wake up to themselves and summon up the pride and courage to re-instate them somewhere in commemoration of Hobart’s foundation settlement at Risdon Cove in 1803
