The ABC Quietly Issues a Disclaimer on Mr Pascoe

A recent disclaimer from the ABC has quietly appeared in an inconspicuous spot on the ABC Website for Bruce Pascoe’s, Dark Emu Education series. We suspect that this may be the first sign that ABC Management may be ‘re-appraising’ Mr Pascoe’s work and claims. We do hope so..

The new ABC disclaimer reads :

"Note also that since 2019, Pascoe's work has been evaluated differently by some people, who don't agree with his interpretations of historical sources. This resource [The ABC website} contains excerpts from the original texts and scientific evidence that Bruce draws on. We encourage you to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of all historical sources."

We do wonder at the status of Mr Pascoe’s proposed, two-part documentary on Dark Emu, due on ABC TV in 2020 - Is it going ahead as planned in 2020?
